Parco-Sinclair Theater
The project consists of renovations to the existing 1924 historic Parco-Sinclair
Theater building, a contributing -- and arguably most important -- building in the National Historic District in the downtown of Sinclair. The project includes a fire protection system, fire alarm, refurbished historic light fixtures, historic plaster
repair, historic wood trim refinishing, historic windows, storm windows, historic
exterior stucco repairs, replacement replica theater seating, stage curtains, sound system, projector and rigging - to accommodate the building's renewed use as a
multi-use thatrical venue and included assisted listening for the hearing impaired. The floor of the theater was re-poured to meet modern ADA accessibility along with new ADA restrooms and concession/catering kitchen.
Historic pain analysis was conducted and the results informed the new interior palette that included a 1920's art deco theme. A separate asbestos and lead abatement project was coordinated prior to construction.
